Common fixes

Wideframe Pro didn't unlock after I paid+
Open Wideframe and choose Restore Purchases (in Settings, or on any Pro paywall). This re-validates your receipt with the App Store and unlocks Pro on the spot. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you purchased with. Still stuck? Email us your purchase date and we'll help.
"Set as Wallpaper" isn't changing my desktop+
Confirm the correct display is selected in the top bar — on a multi-monitor setup, Wideframe sets the wallpaper for the display you've chosen. If macOS is mid-update or a Focus filter is active, try again, or set the exported file manually from System Settings → Wallpaper.
My export looks soft on my display+
Wideframe shows a quality score for a reason: if your source image is narrower than your display's pixel width, scaling it up will soften it. Pick a higher-resolution source, or frame a tighter slice. The quality readout always tells you the exact output width versus your target, so you'll know before you set it.
My display isn't in the preset list+
Choose Add a display… from the display menu and enter the resolution, or let Wideframe detect connected displays. Any width or height works — ultrawide or standard 16:9, big or small — presets are just shortcuts.
Where do my exported wallpapers go?+
By default, ~/Pictures/Wideframe, named by resolution. You can choose a different folder at export time.
